WATER PLAY ACTIVITY:
You will be notified about the commencement of the water play activity in advance. If your child does not bring his/her water play kit, it will be understood that you do not wish to send him/her to the pool.
The water play activity kit should contain:
- swim suit (girls) / swim shorts (boys)
- flip flops / beach slippers
- aqua diaper (if not potty trained)
- towel / bath robe
- a bag to carry wet clothes
- hair brush
SETTLING-IN PERIOD :
Coming to the nursery is an exciting, happy and sometimes a scary experience. Children cannot play or learn successfully if they are anxious or unhappy. Our settling procedures aim to help parents and children to feel comfortable in the nursery and confident that their parents will return at the end of the session/day.
To give both children and parents a chance to adjust to the nursery in a relaxed way, a settling-in period is advisable. Initially the parent can leave the Nursery for a short time, making this period longer every time, until the child stays for a full session without the parent. The settling-in program usually lasts for 1 week or sometimes 2. The program for each settling-in period will depend on the individual child.

§ has the opportunity to join with other children and adults to socialize, learn and play in an organized educational setting.
§ it is helped to take forward his/her learning and development, building on what she/he already knows and can do, thus fostering self confidence.
§ endeavors to make sure she/he settles in and makes satisfying progress.
